Finn Balor was the victim of a huge botch in Saudi Arabia
Finn Balor suffered a cut eye in the Intercontinental Championship ladder match at The Greatest Royal Rumble after a botch with Seth Rollins when he took the Championship down to end the match.
Ladder matches are always dangerous when it comes to WWE superstars suffering injuries, but it seems that Samoa Joe, Balor, Miz and Seth Rollins were all wearing the scars of the fight after their match earlier this evening in Saudi Arabia. The match was considered to be one of the best of the night as all four men battled it out for the right to become Intercontinental Champion in a history-making show.
The Intercontinental Championship ladder match saw Joe, Balor, and Miz and Rollins battle it out for the mid-card title but towards the end of the match when Rollins pounced onto the ladder and stole the title from under Balor’s nose, he managed to drop the strap of the Championship on Balor’s face.

It was quite obviously a botch and Rollins rushed to take the title off the hook and jump off the ladder. The plan was probably for Rollins to take the title from under Balor’s nose and leave him at the top of the ladder but now this ending has definitely opened this rivalry up moving forward.
Seth Rollins and Finn Balor are the two stars who were part of the match that are still on Monday Night Raw and this will now allow the two men who have been working together closely over the past few weeks to open up a personal feud moving forward.
Ladder matches are always dangerous and all four men bore the scars of the match afterward but Balor definitely got the worst of the assault as his eye bled when he stood on top of the ladder that the end of the match. Even though this was an obvious botch, it could easily make the upcoming feud between these two stars that little bit more personal.
